King Salman has issued orders to impose curfew in all cities and provinces of Saudi Arabia starting from Monday 23rd March evening to control the spread of coronavirus disease for a period of 21 days.
The Ministry of Interior The curfew will start at 7 pm every night and finish at 6 am in the morning for a period of 21 days. The curfew was imposed after the Ministry of Health announced 119 cases in a single day bringing the total number of cases to 562.
The Ministry of Interior has announced that anyone who goes out during curfew will face a fine of SR 10,000 and could be jailed as well.
In case if anyone commits the violation for the second time by going out during curfew, he will have to face a fine of SR 20,000 and a jail term of 20 days.
