GUMOSHABE Devotah a year3 Law student to host a podcast panel discussion on the effects of COVID-19 on Second semester.


Gumushabe Devotah is an LLB 3 student at Islamic University In Uganda.
Devotah will host a podcast panel this Friday 10th , April 2020 at 3:15 PM under the theme “COVID-19 AND ITS EFFECTS ONTHE 2ND SEMESTER SCHEDULE OF THE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY IN UGANDA.”

The first of its kind panel discussion will include panelists such as the University’s Academic Registrar Dr. Halima Wakabi Akbar as the chief panelist, Advocate Nanyumba Nicholas who is a Lecturer at the University’s Kampala campus, Welunga Joseph.the Guild President Main campus, Mrs. Nontongo Bashira the University’s Female campus Guild presidents Females campus, and Najjemba Catherine an activist and law student.

The podcast will focus on the challenges students have faced in the implementation of the COVID -19 directives.

Panelists will also discuss their views on how to strike a balance between the measures to curb the spread of the virus and the respect for students rights such as the challenges in accessing the university online portal and how the school administration has responded.
